Mary Abraham

Mary Anjali Abraham

Research Assistant

´┐╝´┐╝Mary Abraham is a junior at Penn State majoring in Psychology (neuroscience) and minoring in Biology. Her interests lie mostly within the realm of psychopathology, especially in those areas relating to Major Depressive disorders. After undergrad, she hopes to work toward a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with the intention of eventually helping adolescents and young adults. Outside of the Psychology department and academics, Mary is involved with Penn State's Newman club, THON, and counts eating good food and curling up with a good book among her favorite activities.

Lauren Anthony

  • Research Assistant

Lauren is a Senior at The Pennsylvania State University pursuing a B.S. in Biology, with an emphasis in neuroscience. Her interests in psychotherapy and abnormal psychology, specifically mood disorders, substance abuse, and attachment theory, led her to seek a minor in psychology. Her ultimate goals include attending graduate school and earning a Ph.D. in the field of clinical psychology or attending PA school. Outside of the lab, she enjoys spending time with friends, running, working as a Pharmacy Technician, and being involved in THON.

Isabel Aragon

  • Research Assistant

Isabel Aragon is a junior at Penn State pursuing a B.S. in psychology (neuroscience option) as well as a minor in biology. Isabel is interested in personality disorders and psychotherapy. She plans on attending graduate school to pursue a Ph.D or a Psy.D in clinical psychology. Outside of class and lab Isabel enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and reading.

Anjali Bhatt

  • Research Assistant

Anjali Bhatt is a junior at Penn State majoring in psychology with the neuroscience option and minoring in Spanish and economics. She is interested in psychotherapy and abnormal psychology research specifically pertaining to its application in different settings. Anjali hopes to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology or to attend medical school with the aims of being a child psychiatrist. Outside of lab, Anjali enjoys writing music and singing in her a cappella group and hiking.

Jane Chung

  • Research Assistant

Jane Chung is a freshman at The Pennsylvania State University pursuing her B.S in psychology with a neuroscience option. She is interested in psychotherapy research, attachment theory, and abnormal psychology. After graduation, she plans on going to graduate school. For now, she is undecided what field she would like to go into. Outside of the class and lab, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and listening to music.

Sierra DiBaudo

  • Research Assistant
Sierra is a Sophomore at Pennsylvania State University. She is majoring in psychology and is especially interested in the field of clinical psychology. Her ultimate goal, academically, would be to attend graduate school and eventually earn a Ph.D. Outside the lab, she loves to be outdoors, listen to music, play piano, hangout with friends and family, and read.

Sona Hussian

  • Research Assistant
Sona is a sophomore at Penn State pursuing a B.S (life sciences option) in psychology. Her interests are still broad, and she is unsure of what field she would like to go into. Some interests include neuroscience, clinical psychology, and mood disorders. Outside of the lab, Sona is on the travel club tennis team and is THON chair for club tennis. She loves volunteering, listening to music, doing yoga, and spending time with her friends, family, and dog.

Kiera Kunkle

  • Research Assistant

Kiera Kunkle is a junior at Penn State pursuing a B.A. in psychology. Her interests within psychology include psychotherapy and abnormal psychology, specifically personality and mood disorders. Kiera plans to attend graduate school and obtain a PhD with the aim of becoming a clinical psychologist. Outside of the lab, Kiera is a member of the Delta Gamma fraternity and enjoys music and traveling.

Aidan McMorrow

  • Research Assistant
Aidan is a freshman at The Pennsylvania State University pursuing a B.S. in Psychology and Biology. He is interested in personality and psychotherapy. He intends to attend medical school and specialize in neurosurgery. Outside of lab he enjoys running, playing the viola, and eating with friends.

Quianna Miller

  • Research Assistant

Quianna Miller is a junior and McNair Scholar at Penn State pursuing a B.A in psychology. Her research interests include how cultural differences impact the efficacy of psychotherapy, as well as the roles personality, family dynamics, relationships and trauma exposure has on ideas of the self and the wellness of children and adults. She plans on getting her PhD in Clinical Psychology, and eventually opening her own private practice in urban neighborhoods that lack sufficient psychological resources. She plans to develop modified intervention techniques geared toward those of various ethnic groups. Outside of the lab, Quianna enjoys watching tv, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.

Adam Qureshi

Adam is a junior at The Pennsylvania State University pursuing a B.S in psychology with a Life Sciences option. Adam is interested in psychotherapy and abnormal psychopathology in both children and adults. Adam intends to get his Ph.D in clinical psychology and develop his own private practice in the future. Outside of class and lab, Adam is involved in THON and enjoys dancing, listening to music, and traveling the world.

Elisabeth Swanson

  • Research Assistant

Elisabeth Swanson is a junior at Penn State pursuing a B.A. in psychology. She is interested in abnormal psychology, attachment theory, and developmental psychology. After completing her undergraduate studies at Penn State, Elisabeth plans to go to nursing school to become a psychiatric nurse. In addition to working in the lab, Elisabeth enjoys playing music (including viola, violin, piano and harp), as well as knitting and playing video games.

Jenna Taimuty

  • Research Assistant

Jenna Taimuty is a sophomore at Penn State pursuing a B.S. in Psychology (life sciences option) and a minor in English. Jenna is interested in abnormal psych and clinical psych, specifically personality disorders and substance abuse. Jenna's main goal is to attend grad school and obtain a Psy.D. in clinical psychology. Outside of the lab, Jenna likes to run, listen to music, and spend time with friends, family, and bulldog puppy, Benny.

Daniella Zubarev

  • Research Assistant

Daniella Zubarev is a senior at The Pennsylvania State University pursuing a B.S. in Psychology, with an emphasis on business. She is interested in I/O psychology, specifically leadership and motivation. Daniella plans to attend graduate school to pursue a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Outside of the lab she enjoys listening to music and playing sports.
